Confirmed from Litzenberg Memorial Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious, scenic park with a diverse landscape & trails, plus a 19th-century house with activities.
What runners say about Litzenberg Memorial Woods
“It's a beautiful trail with some great photo opportunities.”
The park has a historic component in the McKinnis house where special programs are frequently held. The house is only open at those times and is well worth the vist. The barn is another historical component and has a modern food service area attached. It can be rented.
Very pretty, some spots have what I call tree root stairways on the trail. So if elderly or have injuries just walk the other parts of trails there. It's a wonderful small walk/hike. Definitely check it out it's magical right now as the leaves are changing and falling.
It's a relaxing place and good for a little hike. The trails are nice and I enjoyed our walk through the woods.
We only went to the park to sit and eat supper but we were definitely checking things out even though it was starting to get dusk. Very, very beautiful Park. And I can't wait to go back and start walking the trails. Very very beautiful!

“All in all, it's a beautiful place to take a hike, watch for the hills and roots though.”
“I didn't stay long but I did check out both parking areas.”
