Beautifully maintained trail system in a quiet and safe area. From this entrance off of Loantaka Way, there are three different main trails you can take. It is about a mile and a half to the Loantaka Park off of South street in Morristown. The porta potties are actually cleaned on a weekly basis.
One of my favorite park trail systems in the area consisting of mostly flat forest lined paved trails. It isn't all that big but you get a good sense of the wilderness because of all the trees, and flowing Creek.
Beautiful park to enjoy in all 4 seasons. Alot of visual interests from ponds, creeks, various foliage and flora, animals. Many use this for walking or running and there are various trails and different paths, so you can choose how long or short your outing here will be.
Genuinely one of my favorite places on Earth. Quiet, shaded trails for walking, jogging, biking and existential angst and reflection. ;-) the most beautiful ferns in the summer, lovely colorful foliage in the fall.
