Confirmed from Lobit Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational park with facilities for basketball and baseball, plus a pond and a public restroom.
What runners say about Lobit Park
This is a cool park because there is a nice walking path around the water.
It's a little park ,tucked away next to the areas largest landfill and a line of trees hides each of the properties from the other but the smell of the air is just horrid (there is no hiding that )...
Cute but not much going on here. Wish there were more sidewalks for walking. Love the pond! Solid 3.5/5.
Trail conditions & character
“Highlights: Free entrance, clean flush toilet bathrooms and lots of space.”
“but if I'm driving by and I have the dogs (7 Chihuahuas) then I'll swing in to let them run around and do there business , so I don't have to deal with that at home”
“This park has lots of open space, plenty of parking, baseball field, 6 basketball hoops, open fields, a covered pavilion and a small swamp.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
