Confirmed from Londonderry Rail Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Londonderry Rail Trail
“Bit icy/hard to use in winter, but beautiful other times of the year.”
Amazing public rail trail. Bit icy/hard to use in winter, but beautiful other times of the year. Like a lot of rail trails its very flat, but that makes it nice for small strolls.
Safe, scenic in most places. I have travelled from Manchester airport to Windham Depot and beyond. There is a 1 mile stretch in Derry that is not open and we don't know when it Wii be. Late May through June is Lady Slipper season, found in several places, mostly on Southern part of Londonderry section.
Still fluffy,, But crusting real fast. Maybe walking on top, when single digits happen for Monday?? Have fun
Nice trail people are normally nice and respectful. You can bike, run, walk, and hike into the woods. Good for kids and family
