Confirmed from Hood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakeside park featuring a playground, swing sets and an ice-skating rink, plus a basketball court.
What runners say about Hood Park
“I just hope we can find a way to clean the inside lake”
“Usually a nice place to go, alot of young people playing basketball an a beautiful pond to look at.”
I took my grandkids here for the morning. We enjoyed taking pictures, playing on the playground, cgeckingbout the frozen pond and hiking.
Another great spot to visit.. This has a nice park for the children to play. It has the rail trails. Great spot. Make sure you stop by and see if you're traveling through. Get on the trail and get some exercise. Trails are a great place to find some sanity in a busy world. A great place to find some peace. Enjoy it.
Easy parking. Access to rail trail heading north or south. Airport north, and Lawrence mass south. North section expanding past airport to other nice parts through Manch and SNU!!
Nice place to hangout alone or with your loved ones. I love the small swings at this park. A bike path goes next to this park which is used to be a railway line, through which freight trains used to carry butter to Boston made at Blue ribbon company during the end of 19th century and in early 20th century.
