Confirmed from Long Creek Park Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring kid-friendly hikes, walking trails, picnic tables, and restrooms.
What runners say about Long Creek Park Trail
“Beautiful open fields, winding paved trails and new wooden pavilion with fans and picnic tables!”
“Small quiet park with walling trails along what used to be a golf course.”
For me, this is a great place to walk your dog. The trail goes through the former golf course. If you pmayed golf there, you will have memories of those rounds creep into your head. Good shots and bad ones. The photos I posted used to be holes #3 and #6. That's my buddy Ruger with me. He loves the walk.
Small quiet park with walling trails along what used to be a golf course. We visited on a great day after a few rainy days, so boots were needed unless we stayed on the paved trails. We didn't have time to explore it all today so we will be back!
I like walking these former golf-cart paths. It feels undiscovered and isolated here, though there are houses all around. If you're walking dogs, pick up the excrement. In no world is it OK to leave it, and that includes in the little baggies.
Wide open area. It used to be a golf course, so the trails need updating. There's not much else to it yet. They have built a pool and a pergola. Could use a park and sports areas. Sufficient parking spaces. Nice place for dogs to run free. Places to dispose of the dog waste.
Trail conditions & character
“One negative observation - unfortunately folks let their dogs off leash which ultimately will result in a bad situation.”
