Confirmed from Loop Field's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Loop

Park offering a field for sports such as baseball and soccer, and a picnic area.

What runners say about Loop Field

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (97 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Loop Field....is a ...field. not much to say about it, although it does have seating for events and room to park vendor carts. I was there for the Forest Festival which put on a Logging Show. I was expecting more "forest" type vendors, such as chain saw carving, wood working vendors and such.

★★★★☆ — Tyler , Jun 2019

This is one of the BEST PLACES IN TOWN to do any kind of walking! There is a "track" that has tree shavings on it from the forest festival and the savings get spread ALMOST ALL THE WAY AROUND the track each year.

★★★★★ — M , Dec 2019

Loop Field and it's trail are pretty amazing you can get really carried away and stuck on the beauty of God's nature each and every day also it's a pretty steep trail so be prepared to grab a walking stick or a friend or a lunch even and just kind of hang out and enjoy true Bliss.

We were on a road trip and stopped there to stretch our legs. We walked around the loop. It was a nice stop.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
