Confirmed from Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space
“Nice mix of stone structure trails and winding forest, it was beautiful!”
“Trails on rim of canyon are well marked.”
Spent a few hours exploring this morning and it was gorgeous. Trails are well marked! Thankful for the Town investing into this space and all the time and effort people have put into getting this ready for people to enjoy for years to come.
Great new open space! Hiked from the cattleman’s parking down echos of the ancestors, lost moccasin, willow creek and bootleggers loop
Beautiful and diverse new open space! We went from walking on flat level trails to being able to climb rocky steps. Great variety of trails from sunny to shady and easy to moderate. The Trail Ambassadors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable to point out trails based on your preference.
This Is park is a really nice park. Great place for a family hike. The park has plenty of signs saying no pets or bikes are allowed on the trail which all can appreciate. (Service animals are allowed). Castle rock has plenty of space elsewhere for pets and bikes.
