Confirmed from Lost Dauphin State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lost Dauphin State Park
“It's a great spot if you're looking for a peaceful hike or a scenic place to enjoy an outdoor lunch.”
Very nice little park with a decent veiw of the river as well as a few nice places to sit down and eat lunch. They also have a few hiking trails with a nice little ravine in the middle of the park to add some interest to the landscape through the woods.
It's a small park, but has great views of the Fox River. There is a hiking trail in the park which is probably about three quarters of a mile long, but other than that, the park is mainly a picnic spot. The swingset is nice though, I tried it.
It’s a nice little park. I’m confused as to why there are random electrical outlets along the trail. lol
Lost Dauphin is one of Wisconsin’s more underrated state parks. While it might fly under the radar for many state park enthusiasts, likely because it feels more like a local town park, but it’s actually owned and maintained by the Wisconsin DNR.
