Confirmed from Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park
“Saw several very healthy deer, including this beautiful buck with velvet still on it's antlers.”
On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we gather not merely to celebrate a single leader but to honor the interlocking histories of Black and Indigenous resistance that Dr. King himself recognized as inseparable from any genuine pursuit of justice.
What a beautiful park! Probably one of the best I have been to yet! There are so many trails in so many directions. With beautiful scenery and wild life if you get lucky. I saw a alligator, turtle and lots of Bird's You can walk, ride bike and even kayak around here. They have bike and kayak canoe rentals on site.
First encounter with a rattlesnake 🐍 hopefully my last ever, and it was on a paved path, that's always possible when you're in nature of Florida to come across all of its natural beauty. This place is massive and so much to do here will be returning for more things to try and other paved trails.
Had a great hike. It is also an awesome place to ride a bike. Saw several very healthy deer, including this beautiful buck with velvet still on it's antlers. We stared at each other for at least five minutes.
