Confirmed from Lufkin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park, partly renovated place featuring a splash pad, picnic tables and a playground.
What runners say about Lufkin Park
“Beautiful park with a well maintained pond, park free parking and they also have a splash pad Waterpark for littler kids.”
I like visiting this park every so often to see the different wildlife in the pond. Sometimes I even see my muskrat friends swimming around the edge of the water. There's a cool interactive playground for kids and also a covered picnic area with water fountains.
I was a bit stressed so went to Lufkin because I needed some time with nature, it was quiet and peaceful. While having a picnic with myself lol. I enjoy watching the pond and dogs running. This may be my new place to relax and release when I need it. I do miss the pool
Love walking my dog Freyja there! Great new park, with a splash pad water fun area, that looks so cool I wish my kids were still litlle!
Visited this park for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a but more geared toward older kids but my toddler still had plenty of fun. The splash pad is a lot of fun and there is a large open area for concerts in the park. Also a nice pond trail to walk around.
