This is top 5 my favorite place in this world. My family and I go on the weekends and hang out camping and fishing all weekend. It's only 30 minutes from my house so we go sometimes just to fish or just walk the trails. The Rangers are awesome and answer any questions you have.
Off the beaten path and has a boat ramp, some trails and several camp sites. Haven’t camped there but a decent set up for tents. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to explore kayaking…
The park is awesome fill of wonderful plants and wildlife. There is a native plant display that has some wild variety labeled for you viewing pleasure. The river runs along the side of the park and is very accessible for viewing and fishing.
Not overly crowded. Nice hiking trails that are pretty covered by trees. You do need to be aware that there is a lot of broken glass on the trails especially Mill Hole
