Confirmed from Lynn Haven Bayou Park & Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back park offering disk golf, plus playgrounds and walking trails.
What runners say about Lynn Haven Bayou Park & Preserve
“the clean fresh air, birds chirping the wind in the trees, the sounds of children's laugher.”
“The trails are great, the kids like the playground, it has covered seating and covered picnic tables, and it's really a beautiful place.”
“Peaceful atmosphere with an amazing view of the sunset on the bayou.”
“Dog-friendly as well as child-friendly- there is a nice play area and plenty of shaded places to get out of the sun if needed.”
Unique discovery playground with water misters for cooling off on a hot day. Large and clean restroom directly beside parking. Plenty of walking trails lined in benches and tiny “beaches”. A great place to bring a picnic (and bug spray) and stay a while.
Highly recommend this park for those that want to spend time outdoors somewhere other than the beach. Plenty of space for walking, running, and biking. Dog-friendly as well as child-friendly- there is a nice play area and plenty of shaded places to get out of the sun if needed.
Loved that there were so many views of the water! Several different "picnic" areas to stop and rest in the shade or have a quick snack. A lot of the rest areas were overlooking the water (bayou & bay). It's very handicapped friendly with sidewalks, ramps, boardwalks, and paved gravel paths.
Lovely place to take a walk and nice place for children to play and run around. Very nicley kept and the bathrooms were very clean. The misters are a nice touch for hot days.
