Confirmed from MacDonough Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Calm park near the river, with pathways, benches and a gazebo for weddings plus other events.

Love this park by the water. Has bricks walkways all around. These are special bricks that people can buy to dedicate them to loved ones who've passed. There is a beautiful gazebo where couples have weddings. This park also has trails along the river you can walk on. Love it here!
A very nice, peaceful place to take a stroll by the Saranac river, or sit on one of the many benches along the path and just relax. Also, there are picnic tables available to sit and have a bite to eat.
They should make a little walkway under the railroad so you can walk around that whole area. its super annoying to have to walk all the way around cuz the railroad company is blocking off the area.
I come down here to relax...Lots of memories here...I bring the kids down to run around & enjoy themselves...Can definitely feel history here...😊
