Confirmed from Mallard's Nest Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve offering kid-friendly hiking trails, a creek, and abundant wildlife.

Mallard’s Nest is a beautiful natural area for a stroll along some stunning trails while passing or being passed by fellow visitors on bike or on foot. While it may be busy, the trail extends much farther than you’d think and it’s a perfect place to clear your mind, walk with the dog, and soak up some views.
This is a really nice well-maintained park. We were actually there to do a cleanup event with the girl scouts. It really didn't need much cleanup but we were able to do our part! Very nice trail that is highly used by cyclists, runners, and walkers. Lots of places to stop along the creek to take in the views.
Good fun place to walk or chill but always over flowing Waters everywhere
This area makes for a very beautiful resting area along the Spring Creek Trail in Fort Collins Colorado nestled in on the edge of the trail and you can see the Colorado Rockies in the background
