Nice park in FoCo to hike around with plenty of wildlife. My dog was trying to make friends with a beaver.
This place is great for waking a dog, riding a horse, or just taking a stroll. There are so many different paths you can take (I had to use Google maps at first so I didn't get lost!). One of the paths connects to the Poudre River bike path (which is paved). But there's lots of options to stay on dirt trails as well.
Nice level walkway,bikeway that I like to walk my dog Freddy on. We walk down the bank at spots and go play in the river. A few benches along the way to take a rest. Ponds on the North side of the river tucked into the woods are quiet spots.
I've reviewed McMurry befire. It was peaceful again. The wildflowers were in bloom at the natural area today. Water level in the ponds seemed low. Because of the wet spring, there is tons of tall grass. We beat the heat by getting out in the trail by 9 am.
