Confirmed from Manhasset Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small park with a baseball field and a playground for children.

“Beautiful, peaceful, and a wonderful 911 new memorial.”

Absolutely love love love this park! I work in the area and every single day on my lunch break I walk down to this park and take a walk. It is such a beautiful and nice park. Believe it or not being so close to Northern you can still truly enjoy and embrace the sounds and sights of nature.
Manhasset Valley Park offers a serene escape for both individuals and families. Its diverse range of activities, from cycling, walking and jogging to playing ball or simply enjoying a peaceful moment on a bench, caters to various interests.
Nice quiet park. Visited during a weekday and there wasn't an overabundance of people. There is a 9/11 memorial there which is very nice. Saw some ducks and geese in the water areas. There are some walking paths. Parking in the lot is only during select hours otherwise street parking was easy and unmetered.
TOOK OUR GRANDSON FOR A WALK DURING COVID LAST SPRING, WAS A VERY PEACEFUL BAY OF WATER TO ENJOY, AND HE WAS FASCINATED BY THE BEAUTIFUL DUCKS, IN AND OUT OF THE WATER, AND BY THE PARK ITSELF. WAS A VERY QUIET DAY.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
