Confirmed from Maplewood Park & Activity Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic area, adult obstacle course, and facilities for children with disabilities.
What runners say about Maplewood Park & Activity Center
Cool park! Our dogs loved the paved walking path that goes around the park. Our 5 year old enjoyed the variety of playground equipment to choose from and the agility course. Restrooms were locked on a Sunday afternoon in April, but there are 2 portables nearby. Highly recommend.

“Sensory things, handicap accessible things, ninja course, basketball court, sledding hill and ice rink in the winter.”
“The playground is huge and there is plenty of parking.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
