Confirmed from Mariner Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I found this park in an accident. I walked through a small public space between two houses and suddenly a beautiful view appeared in front of me. Brought my family and friends for a hiking there in the weekend. It is quiet and beautiful. I saw people fishing there and cought a small tiger shark.

Big open space with some street parking , large grassy field, access to SF Bay Trail along the shoreline with a bench for taking in views of the slough and bay. Memorial bench in the center of the park under some trees. No bathrooms, use nearby Marlin Park for that. Quiet space with not too many people.

A peaceful park next to a long path along the lagoon. Good for sitting and enjoy the weather or walk, run on the path.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
