Confirmed from Port Royal Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park offering soccer fields, a kids' play area, picnic tables, basketball courts & restrooms.
What runners say about Port Royal Park
“Clean neighborhood park next to the levy primarily for soccer with a small children's play area.”
Good soccer field. Small park. 1/3 basketball court. Restrooms. Playground for little kids. Some grass for dogs. Running trail under construction. Very hot during warm days on the soccer pitch.
This small neighborhood park was quiet, peaceful and clean. After picking up some lunch, we stopped here with the kids to eat at the office tables. The kids ate then played in the enclosed playground and sandbox while we finished our food. Other people exercised on the turf soccer field.
Great fields for local soccer club and recreation league training and matches. The parking lot is very small but there is plenty of parking on the street. Walking and running trails available at the field.
Port royal park is a nice park tucked away in a corner of foster city. It has a gated little tot playground, bathroom facilities, an astroturf soccer field, a track around the field, and access to the bay trail, which is currently not open due to construction of a wave wall.
Trail conditions & character
“The park also includes a parking lot, a public bathroom (which was also clean and well-stocked at the time), a water fountain, and a spout for washing hands or filling a dog bowl.”
