What runners say about Mariners Preserve
Explore the trails and spot wildlife, including many pollinators! Head east for a great view of the lighthouse. Remember to bring muck boots during the wet season as some areas aren't fully accessible. We also noticed some interesting hunting blinds that don't seem to be legally placed.
Beautiful 2+ mile loop through wildflower fields with a wooded area. It's nice to have it available; this used to be land blocked from the public (for corporate hunting, I believe). They did a great job building the entrance. Also worth noting, we ran through millions of baby grasshoppers.
