Confirmed from Mariners Trail Wayside's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakeside path, popular for biking and walking, with gardens and sculptures.
What runners say about Mariners Trail Wayside
“This is a beautiful paved trail for biking and walking right along the shore of lake Michigan.”
Beautiful 6 mile trail from the Wisconsin Maritime Museum to Two Rivers. Bike, walk, run, rollerblade; nicely paved and well maintained. The lake is the main attraction, but gardens, sculptures, and waysides beckon. Highly recommend. It continues on as Rawley Point Trail to Point Beach State Park.
What a nice trail for a bike ride or stroll! It's in excellent condition and there are nice spots along the way to stop for a break or picnic lunch. Near the South end of the trail is the West of the Lake Gardens. Absolutely lovely!
Anice flat trail that runs from the Manitowoc Marina up to Two Rivers. Lake Michigan is the attraction to the east. Waysides are nicely done with gardens and statuary. Make sure to stop at the West Gardens and take time to check out the "Spirit of the Rivers" artwork.
Running along Lake Michigan from Manitowoc to Two Rivers WI. is Mariners Trail. Very Long sidewalk great for hiking or bicycling. Beautiful plots of flowers planted by different people and greenhouses along the way. Benchs for admiring the gorgeous sites of Lake Michigan. My husband and I visit often!!
