We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Mariner’s Trail Wayside Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mariner’s Trail Wayside Park
“Gorgeous views and benches all along the way to rest and take in scenery, access to the shoreline as well if you choose to take your stroll to the sandy beach areas.”
Several waysides are along the Mariner's Trail. At these waysides there are flowers, sculptures, and benches to stare at the lake. There is access to what once was the beach. Good places to sit a spell when you're walking the trail. Just park, turn off the engine and meditate on the beauty of the lake...relax
We went here on a whim last weekend. The trail is very scenic and easy to walk.
Lovely place to walk to and enjoy. As a park commissioner from another area Job well done! Our favorite places to pull over and enjoy along the Harborside dr.
Absolutely beautiful place! Love hiking here! Just watch for some of the bikers going fast around the corners.
