Confirmed from Mario Cuomo Bridge Pathway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Mario Cuomo Bridge Pathway

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (297 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“so unless you bring a zoom lens to zoom in between the wires, you won't get any clean shots.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Well lit, great views, especially at sunset and the illuminated towers are a great backdrop.”

Recently heard of the opening of the path. I saw it under construction for the last few months. I decided to make a trip on a quiet Monday afternoon. I intended to visit the Nyack (North) area but had some issues getting there.

It's a good ride, walk or run option, clean, safe and very cool path on both sides. Also they have a air pump and some tools if your bike need it. I do love come sats morning 🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Thoroughly enjoyed the bridge pathway, it's been on my list of things I wanted to do and I will return. From the parking lot to the end and back provides a good exercise, whether it be walking or biking, it's well worth the trip. It's clean and well maintained.

Bike path on the left (one lane that is shared for those going both ways on the bridge.) Right side is for pedestrians. People tend to spread out and walk in the bike lane which cam be fristrating to say the least. Restrooms are on either side and are clean and plenty. Well stocked as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 14 mentions

“This is a wonderful walking and bike path that spans over three miles between Tarrytown and Nyack and offers incredible views as you walk over the Hudson River.”
