Confirmed from Marjory Swope Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Marjory Swope Park
“Some climbing necessary but the trails are well marked and maintained.”
I come here frequently to get a hiking workout close to home. It is the only place in Concord that you can get some elevation in, depending on how you do your route.
Some climbing necessary but the trails are well marked and maintained. Wooded with a few views and a little history (look for the rock on the orange trail).
Hiking Trail Review Swope Loop (Blue) - 1.6 miles Parking lot is very spacious. Not crowded at all and easy to find. Trail head is easy to locate as well and trail is well marked. There are many intersecting trails as well. Somewhat plain and boring but there was a point about halfway through with a stunning view.
Went for an icy hike. I used microspikes. To do otherwise is unwise. Nice views.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
