Confirmed from Markham Park & Target Range's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Go daily for the beautiful experience and the amazing well kept park.”

Very Nice Camping! I stayed here for 2 nights and found this park and campground to be one of the nicest and well maintained county parks I have stayed at. The property is so nice and very quiet at night. I had a little trouble finding the sewer hook up hole in the ground when I got to my site.

★★★★★ — Drew , May 2018

This park is huge and there is so much to do! It does cost $3 per vehicle to enter the park but it is well worth it. I really enjoyed the 2 mile lakeside trail. It was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Markham Park is an awesome all-in-one spot, we’re here for the Scoutmasters camporee and it’s a great venue for group camping and outdoor events. Beyond that, the park is loaded with legit amenities: a full Markham Park Target Range with pistol/rifle plus skeet & trap, sporting clays, and even archery.

I usually go to Markham Park to walk around and to play on their 18-hole disc golf course. The cost is free on weekdays and 2 dollars per person on weekends. The park is well-maintained, has good nature views if you like strolling around, and many spots where you can picnic and barbecue.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 13 mentions

“There is a shooting range, dog park, boat ramp, campground, RC area, bike dirt path, fribee course, and many "pods" for a multitude of outdoor fun and events.”
