Confirmed from Marsh Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring a boat ramp, a playground, and swing sets.
What runners say about Marsh Memorial Park
“Clean picnic area and play area for kids.”
“The ground is covered in beautiful dark green grass.”
“If the spots near the ramp are full there are more along the loop which also keeps your vehicle in the shade so it’s not an oven when you get back.”
Nice quiet park. There's a lot to do in this small park. They have a wide boat ramp (slight dropoff) with docking for a couple of boats and ample parking, the canal is a short straight run to the lake. Restrooms (I've never had to use them).
Great place to walk your dog. Lots of trees, and shade, the boat ramp is very busy. it's about a quarter mile walk around the perimeter. The large oak trees are beautiful.
Great place to go with the family - walking trail, park, swings and the water.
Great place to put in a boat. Plenty of parking for the trailer. If the spots near the ramp are full there are more along the loop which also keeps your vehicle in the shade so it’s not an oven when you get back. Bathrooms decent. Park is clean. Plus my boys love fishing Lake Yale.
Trail conditions & character
“There's a walking trail that starts over by the boat ramp and meanders through the wooded area and eventually leads out at the parking area for the playground.”
“The only 2 issues I had were the bugs in the restrooms, and it would be helpful to have a sign in the lake area to let you know where the boat ramp is.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
