What runners say about Marty Bender Nature Trail
Good place close to town for a quick hike. Took us just under an hour including a few stops to enjoy the scenery. Weren't many others out although it was a brisk/chilly windy day. For the most part the trail is well identified and well maintained.
A pleasant Salina surprise! An open prairie path leads to a wooded area and the path follows the Smokey Hills River. Fun little features like swings on a giant tree!
Wonderful HIKING path. This location is not for bicycles, strollers, etc. This location is a beautiful nature trail maintained by TLI staff.
Nice trail. Storm has put a lot.of trees down and broken sticks but its kept very nice and usable as they manage the cleanup
