What runners say about River Woods Nature Area
Cool trail but Google directions are not accurate. Best way to get there is go east on Cloud Street, at the dead end is parking and the dike. It is on the east side of the dike, to the south a little from the parking area.
Very unexpected trail for Kansas accessible by the Levee Trail system.
Nice little hike/mountain bike trail. As others have stated, access from the Levee System Trail or park at east end of East Cloud St, not Red Fox Lane. I put an address edit in, we’ll see if google changes it.
Love this trail, fun hidden area to walk. Love to walk different times of year and get different experiences.
