Very unique place to walk but seems to be very popular. It's 2 miles around the trail of the reservoir with some great views of the countryside. You can also fish (permit required),kayak,canoe,and have a small fishing boat.There are boat ramps, a portable restroom and plenty of parking.
Good place around Marysville for an evening walk. The sunsets are to die for.
I went here with my daughter just to have a look at the reservoir but we ended up walking the 2 mile trail around it, too. It's a lovely, secluded place and worth the trip for getting away from the city for some quiet time. There is plenty of parking but be prepared for an uphill climb to get to the trail.
This is an above ground resevoir. It is a park as secondary use only. It has a 2 mile walking loop around the upper parimeter and some fishing. That's about it and I like it! It's a nice place for us old folks to get some exercise without crowds.
