Confirmed from Mast Point Dam Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

We went with our dogs a couple of weeks ago and it was a nice surprise. Short trails but nice and next to the water, if you want a mild walk this could be your spot. We are going to try kayaking next time and see how it goes.

Nice walk along the Salmon Falls River. I would give the park a higher rating, except for the fact that the entrance is almost always in poor shape. Definitely challenges your suspension system. Also: I fail to understand why the City Of Somersworth doesn't have a sign for the park. Very puzzling.

The trails are short and relatively easy. There are a couple of small hills, but overall a great walk along the Salmon Falls River suitable for nearly everyone. Parking is limited. There is a kayak launch a short ways into the trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
