Confirmed from Maybrook Trailway Tonetta Lake's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Maybrook Trailway Tonetta Lake
“In the fall the views are beautiful along the trail.”
This is one of my favorite trails because it has old train track that you can still see.
Maybrook Trailway, a section of the Empire Trailway in NYS, is a great place for a walk, run or bike ride. In the fall the views are beautiful along the trail.
Not very scenic in April. But areas were pretty. I imagine fall is the best time. From Hopewell Junction be ready for an exhausting incline. I only cycled 19 miles out 16 miles were an incline & especially windy on the lake.
Great place to bike goes a long way hidden gem connected to dutchess rail trail. Goes all the way to Patterson Brewster and beyond. Very quiet . If you are lucky you can see bears
