Confirmed from Mazeppa Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park featuring lighted baseball/softball field, concession pavilion & picnic area.

Great soccer fields here. They have night lamps too to allow the soccer practice after sunset. They are plenty of walking & bike trails. All parks facilities are well maintained. Overall a nice park for families.
Great trails and very well maintained. Fast and flows. Easy to get speed and maintain it.
Lovely weather on SAT 2025.11.15 for my morning walk at Mazeppa Park. ~06:50 i arrived at Mazeppa Park, and noticed there were only (total) of ~5 people out and about. ~1+ hours later, when i was getting back to the parking lot, MazeppaPark was getting busy ..

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
