We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Walking Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Walking Trail
I Was curious to know the information regarding this trail....I left the trailhead at 5:10 pm on Sunday afternoon after parking on the side of the street. As I headed down the steps... leading to the trail 👣 I noticed that Trees 🌳 had fallen and blocked the path. It wasn't difficult to climb over and head on my way.
Neighborhood trail that gives the feel that you are hiking. It's just over a mile there and back. There were a couple of trees blocking the trail but we were able to climb over them- watch out for the poison ivy when you do that! Be prepared for mosquitos. We saw a lot of toads, butterflies, and mushrooms.
Quick half mile trail walk is great for getting some quick movement in! The trees that a previous reviewer had mentioned, have been cleared out for our walking pleasure, as well as several new trees were planted in the trail since I had been there last. Great hiking area!
This was a hidden gem at the ballpark! It connects the ballpark with the soccer park in a lovely, meandering trail. It's a great mountain biking trail, but I was on foot. There are curves and hills creating a challenging course. I hope I get to go back to this place.
