We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of McAdoo Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about McAdoo Trailhead
“Awesome place to ride the trails are very well maintained and the parking area and hitching posts are amazing.”
My husband and I ride our horses here quite a bit the trails are clean well kept and we'll marked. The parking area for horse trailers is really nice theres plenty of room to park and turn around theres also a manure pit waters hook ups hitching posts big and small mounting blocks and a restroom
I love this park. Staff keeps it in great shape. Trail was muddy in spots but not bad. A few creeks for my dog to cool off. Be nice when trees turn green.
The trail head itself is nice. Good, clean, bathroom, a map, and a picnic area. The trail itself needs a little bit of work, but not bad at all.
The McAdoo Trailhead is one of my favorites at Knob State Park. I love to hike this trail. It is so peaceful here.
