Confirmed from McCurry Park South's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Restrooms

Large community park with athletic fields, disc golf, playgrounds, a walking trail & picnic areas.

What runners say about McCurry Park South

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (713 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Nice, well-maintained playground that is clean and feels safe.”

A place one can personally exercise, take a leisurely walk while waiting on the kids to get done with their games / practice. A simply an ‘OK’ zone….

This park is a nice park to go to if you are in the mood to get out and go to the park. There is a nice walking trail you can walk with some inclines I’m not sure how long it is exactly. If you have kids parks are available with slides and swings.

I loved it!!!! Everyone was just walking...talking...listening to music..all smiling faces and greetings as we passed each other the kids practicing in their own space as we walked the trail not in no one's way a few passing vehicles but not to much plenty of park it was awesome great atmosphere i even walked 30min…

This is a “do-it-all” park. I bring my daughter here for the playground, my dog to walk on the paved trails, and I can even get in a round or two of disc golf. Open park: it never feels crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
