Confirmed from The Ridge Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful and quiet trails. Super nice place for a walk/hike. They even have a bathroom you can use! There are wooded meadows, little creeks, and the paths are well defined with markers. There are different trails that you can follow and they’re all color coded.

Absolutely Beautiful area! Lots of trails and it is so nice to take our greyhounds and cat (yes our cat hikes on a harness) to The Ridge. We LOVE that it is so close and having this large wooded area right in our city of Fayetteville.

This is a great place for a good walk in the woods! There are several trails to choose from. My experience was incredibly peaceful. 60 acres of gorgeous!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
