Confirmed from McKissic Springs Station Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Overall a wonderful place to bring kids and dogs for a shaded walk on the bike path or check out the stream.”

This is a great park in Centerron, and although the lake is by a busy road (with a lot of traffic and noise), the park is a little further away. There's a nice stream that runs through the park, which helps you feel calm. There's a small water park and medium playscape for kids.

★★★★★ — Mayur , Apr 2024

McKissic Park is a great place to spend the afternoon, even in winter. There is a Biba Playground (there's an app for that!) with numerous slides of various sizes, a climbing rope and wall, fireman's pole, etc. The playground also has rubber safety mulch.

★★★★★ — Zippy , Feb 2023

There’s a covered playground and picnic shelter, walking paths, disc golf course, bathrooms and a splash pad.

★★★★★ — The , Apr 2026

It's a fun park with a beautiful stream running nearby. There is also a disc golf course, a pavilion with what appeared to be a birthday party in full swing. Obviously there are play things for the kids such as a splash pad and various playground equipment.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“There are bathrooms and a drinking fountain up by the splashpad, but none near the playground (they may be locked in the winter).”
