Confirmed from Meadowlake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I occasionally take a walk through here; it's a lovely park with a miniature train that rides through on the weekends, a Frisbee golf course, and the namesake - Meadowlake.
Was a great place to meet my sister after clinical rotations and walk laps in the dog park with our corgi and mini poodle.
My wife and I recently moved here from South Texas. During our first week here, we visited Meadow Lake and fished from the shore. We caught a slab crappie, several small bluegill, and a couple of catfish. It was a great day, and the weather was perfect.
Nice place to catch some summer vibes ☀️ 🚂 there is a train that rides through in the evening for children. It goes around a large park with paved paths and disk frisbee. Lots of picnic tables and shade. There is a ton of geese and ducks and people feed them so there is dropping from them everywhere.
Trail conditions & character
“The park has a charming train ride, a classic ferris wheel, multiple playgrounds, a dedicated dog park, and great fishing opportunities.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
