Confirmed from Mebane Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Big and small dog parks plus playgrounds featuring slides, soccer fields, a splash pad, a rock-climbing wall, picnic tables and exercise machines.
What runners say about Mebane Community Park

“The Female adult, also UN-MASKED, stood close by monitoring the two beautiful Toddlers!”
“A half mile walking trail loop, outdoor fitness center, dog park, clean restrooms, and an area to sit in the shade to rest and snack.”
Community Park is well maintained by the Recreation and Park Department. It has a little of everything needed to make for an enjoyable afternoon trip. A half mile walking trail loop, outdoor fitness center, dog park, clean restrooms, and an area to sit in the shade to rest and snack.
WHAT!! I didn't know about this park, I've been looking for a public soccer field where I could play soccer with my friends and finally found one, lovely place to play soccer, walk, run, exercise, loved it. Favorite place!!
I would not choose this park for playground play, as there are bigger playgrounds elsewhere that are much less crowded. It seems most folks come here for sports. Particularly soccer. We do not, but it appears the fields are very nice and kept up. There is a nice walking track and a decent workout/training area.
Prepare to get wet!! For some reason I thought the splash park portion of the park wouldn't be on during the week so my kids and I weren't prepared. Even if you don't plan on using the splash park, it is very possible for bums to get wet since kids go back and forth from the splash park to the playground.
