Confirmed from Meek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Landscaped grounds of a historic mansion with play structures, picnic space with grills & open lawn.
What runners say about Meek Park
“The mansion itself is beautiful, though we did not go inside.”
a review from @amom2kidsandapark I love this park! So much open space! A lot of paths for bike riding/scooting. A decently sized (and spaced out) play area with 3 play structures. A fountain! A rose garden! A big mansion! A gazebo! Old farm equipment! Covered picnic area! Seriously what’s not to love?!
First time in Hayward! I saw this place on tiktok, its a cute park. It was miday on Saturday and was not packed. I saw several families have a get-together/ parties, which was very nice to see. There was street parking available but thankfully I drove in the back and saw the park itself has a parking lot.
The mansion itself is beautiful, though we did not go inside. The park has many beautiful trees, including cherry blossoms, and there are benches and a lot of green grass to relax on. The only disappointment was the fountain wasn't running and looked pretty neglected.
So much fun here for the kids to run and release there energy built up from this Covid epidemic. Plenty benches and different play areas for different age groups to all find something they can do and enjoy.
