Confirmed from Meininger Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Children playing and very calm and serene.”

This is a very nice park, with bikes and Tonka trucks for the kids to play in the sand box with. The play structure is also neat and there is plenty of space to run around in the fields with your pup or kiddo ;)

Very cute neighborhood park! Shaded, many benches and picnic tables, lots of room to run around. Street parking. 2 enclosed tennis courts, sandbox with toys, play structure, swings and infant swings. Very pretty and fun for the kids. No restrooms.

It's a great park for dogs to run. they need to replace the leash law signs with Karen's not allowed.. need to cover-up all the drains in the park so that in February water can freeze over and have ice between the trees and go ice skating between the trees. It's the most memorable thing I remember about Maxwell Park...

★★★★☆ — Jerold , Dec 2022

It's always a nice place to take our son. It has its own digging toys, which he loves. He also loves trains, which the train runs right by there. Playground equipment is well maintained and clean, not totally toddler proof with some edges they can walk right off of. but it keeps parents involved, which is good.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
