Confirmed from Meininger Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground and picnic tables, as well as tennis courts and a small garden.
What runners say about Meininger Park
“Playground equipment is well maintained and clean, not totally toddler proof with some edges they can walk right off of.”
“It's a beautiful Park and we like to walk our dogs there in the early evening.”
“There are lots of trees that provide some shade on hot days, and a lot of toys that the kids love to play with in the sand box.”
“Children playing and very calm and serene.”
This is a very nice park, with bikes and Tonka trucks for the kids to play in the sand box with. The play structure is also neat and there is plenty of space to run around in the fields with your pup or kiddo ;)
Very cute neighborhood park! Shaded, many benches and picnic tables, lots of room to run around. Street parking. 2 enclosed tennis courts, sandbox with toys, play structure, swings and infant swings. Very pretty and fun for the kids. No restrooms.
It's a great park for dogs to run. they need to replace the leash law signs with Karen's not allowed.. need to cover-up all the drains in the park so that in February water can freeze over and have ice between the trees and go ice skating between the trees. It's the most memorable thing I remember about Maxwell Park...
It's always a nice place to take our son. It has its own digging toys, which he loves. He also loves trains, which the train runs right by there. Playground equipment is well maintained and clean, not totally toddler proof with some edges they can walk right off of. but it keeps parents involved, which is good.

“I only wish the wood chips were replaced by the flat ground to be more accessible.”
