Confirmed from Quickstad Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Dog-friendly

Wooded area featuring trails and soccer fields, plus an arboretum.

What runners say about Quickstad Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (268 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful park with lots of wildflowers, white and red trillium bloom in the spring.”

Beautiful park with lots of wildflowers, white and red trillium bloom in the spring. Great for walks at sunrise or sunset. Just be careful of wet areas.

★★★★★ — D , Mar 2022

Huge park near a school. Wide open fields where you can walk barefoot in case you're interested in grounding. There is also an enclosed forest area with lots of fallen trees, very beautiful. Great for running a few miles or walking your dog.

★★★★★ — Rvo , Apr 2021

One of the more peaceful places in the area for a walk in the woods. The fences & turnstiles are a bit confusing at first (some are one-way), but otherwise very nice.

★★★★☆ — Patrick , Mar 2024

Nice park, plenty of parking nearby. One of the turnstiles was locked, but the one off Lexington and the one near a dog run was open. Enough bugs that I would definitely recommend wearing bug spray or long sleeves!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
