We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Memorial Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Memorial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (161 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“The park is well-maintained, complete with basketball and tennis courts, a baseball field, and children's playground.”

I used to go to camp when I was little haven’t been back since now! Great renovations that were definitely needed it’s now kept flurry clean with a little trail and I think the basketball court is my favorite part so I can play with my friends pretty iconic park in my eyes!

One of my favorite places as a kid growing up in LaGrange Park during the 60's. I learned to skateboard here and watched many a friend take a spill on Memorial Hill. This park was also where we wo go to watch the older kids launch and fly their huge box kites.

It provides walking or jogging path, soccer field, tennis and pickleball courts and children's play area. All in all a very nice asset for the community.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 2 mentions

“There is a new structure that includes bathroom facilities, though they are not always open.”
