This is a peaceful area to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. I like to walk my dog here, and they occasionally hold events and sports games that pique my interest. The Manatawny Creek runs through it with areas accessible for fishing or creek stomping.
Skateboard park, dog park, water park for little kids, playground, basketball court and walking path. There is a large pavilion with outdoor grill stations. The manatawny runs through the park and gets stocked during trout season. For Pottstown it's not a bad local park.
Went looking for the dog park in order to get our dog some exercise. We must have used the wrong entrance. Today we went just like we do every Tuesday to have a family walk. The USDA wildlife services was there doing work with the ducks to make sure they weren't carrying any diseases. All in all a nice day
