Confirmed from Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual, tree-shaded park with a playground and grills for cookouts.
What runners say about Memorial Park
“A beautiful place to go back in time and things were simpler but no indoor plumbing.”
Great park, just out of town. Great trails for river exploring or fishing. The river is a bit high right now though...Koda thinks it's a great place to chill out. I told koda the buildings were off limits...but he don't care...
Walking in nature connects you with what is essential: fresh air, the sun on your face, and peace in your heart.
Great place to go for a walk.we walked around memorial park and huber park. We went down to see how high the water is down by the river and it is still pretty high right now but we were able to go for a very nice walk.
Holy duck moley!! There were a good number when we came in the summer but apparently the winter is where it's at if you are sighting ducks. You can bring feed bit do not bring bread! The paved walking paths are nice and the playground is great for those who are on a trip and need to let the kids run a bit.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
