Confirmed from Meridian Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Meridian Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (339 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“This is a wonderful and well-kept place that our whole family enjoys visiting!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

This is a wonderful and well-kept place that our whole family enjoys visiting! My daughter absolutely loves feeding the ducks, and sometimes we even fish here — she’s always so excited! The park is always clean, and there are convenient waste bag stations for dogs, which makes walks even more pleasant.

★★★★★ — Meg , Jul 2025

Enjoy a beautiful park. Walk with your dog, ride a bike, run and take the kids and family to have a great time.

★★★★★ — Simone , May 2022

Love the trail options I have at this park. I can walk around the lake, do the nature trail, or even walk around to the baseball fields on the other side

★★★★★ — Ana , Aug 2024

Meridian has been a staple in my life since I was teen. It hasn't changed much and I say that as a good thing. The gym there is great and cheap for those that are looking for that old school gym feel and not the pretentiousness of places like Planet Fitness.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 8 mentions

“There is also a fairly nice playground and plenty of paved paths for biking or walking around the pond.”
