Confirmed from West Walton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic tables, and baseball field, plus restrooms and concessions.
What runners say about West Walton Park
“All in all a great park , family friendly and clean .”
“We love the new wooded walking/running trails at the back of the park.”
The trails are beautifully maintained, but the map-signs could be more helpful. The friendly people you meet on the trails, and deep-woods atmosphere and fauna make for a great bike ride, with enough uphills to work up a sweat, and enough downhills to cool you off.
One of the nicest ballparks around. Our grandchildren have played baseball here for several years. Always clean, very well maintained. Everyone that works here is polite and works hard to keep things looking good. There is handicap parking and paved walkways that make getting around with a wheelchair easy.
We love the new wooded walking/running trails at the back of the park. It connects to Meridian Park and makes a nice little running loop there and back. Also a lifesaver on these hot summer days.
I love the fact that they support our community. Great place for a run, walk, or quality time with the kids. Bathrooms are really needed.
