There is 3 different areas for you to park at. It's easy to follow. You can go for a walk or run, and it's easy to push a stroller. The trail is about 3 miles long. It has several informative signs about the history of the canal.
This flat, three mile (six mile round trip) bike path is pleasant, especially in the fall and spring months. Views include a large agricultural field, railroad tracks, a marsh that looks straight out of the Everglades, and a small pond. It serves as a connection between Seward Road and Rte.
Nice peaceful, at least in December, and well paved bike trail. Only 3 miles one way. At trailhead there’s a map of the longer Miami & Erie Canal Trail but didn’t see any link to it from this trail. Be nice if they connect them in the future. Perfect trail for walkers, runners and cyclists just out for a short spin.
