I didn't really use the park, I just parked here to ride my bike on the trail. But it looks like a nice to place to come hang out an grill. Facilities were locked when I was here, but they had plenty of pot-o-potties.
This is the mouth of the Chief Ladiga trail. There is parking, restrooms with shower, and camping spots under a lovely pecan grove. The trail is flat, fast, and fun.
Quiet, under utilized so plenty of space and privacy. Bathrooms were fine. Great way to spend day on trail.
We were biking the chief Ladaiga trail and stayed here after a 100 mile day. The bathrooms are not the cleanest, but they work. There is a road with moderate traffic, so expect to hear cars when you are trying to sleep. Overall, it was a good campground, though in my opinion it could have been a little cheaper.
